De Challenge Cup, het grootste kunstrij-evenement op Nederlandse bodem, vindt dit jaar plaats van 23 t/m 26 februari in IJssportcentrum Tilburg. Het evenement, waarbij verschillende zowel nationale als internationale toppers aanwezig zijn, wordt gecombineerd met het Nederlands Kampioenschap.
Tijdens de Challenge Cup kun je van donderdag t/m zondag genieten van vier verschillende disciplines (Solorijden Mannen, Solorijden Vrouwen, Paarrijden & IJsdansen) in verschillende leeftijdscategorieën. De Challenge cup is daarnaast voor zowel nationale als internationale rijders de laatste kwalificatiemogelijkheid voor het WK Kunstrijden dat plaatsvindt van 20 t/m 26 maart (in Saitama, Japan).
Er komen vele wereldtoppers in actie bij de Challenge Cup, onder wie regerend wereldkampioene Kaori Sakamoto uit Japan en haar landgenoot Sota Yamamoto. Maar natuurlijk ook onze eigen Nederlands kampioene Lindsay van Zundert.
De Challenge Cup/NK Kunstrijden verhuisde vorig jaar vanuit Den Haag naar Tilburg en zal daar t/m 2024 plaatsvinden. Dankzij financiële steun van de gemeente Tilburg is het dit jaar gratis voor de toeschouwers. Dus kom jij de kunstrijders aanmoedigen, kom dan langs in het IJssportcentrum Tilburg, waar je alle dagen gratis naar binnen kan!
Let op: betaald parkeren bij IJssportcentrum Tilburg (€ 1,- per dag).

This year's Challenge Cup will take place from 23 to 26 February at Ice Sports Center Tilburg. The event, which features international competitors from all over the world, is combined with the Dutch National Championships.
During the Challenge Cup, you can enjoy four different disciplines (Men, Women, Pairs & Ice Dance) in different age categories. The Challenge Cup is also, for both national and international skaters, the final qualification opportunity for the ISU World Figure Skating Championships ( 20 - 26 March, Saitama, Japan).
Many international competitors from all over the world come to Tilburg, including current world Champion Kaori Sakamoto from Japan and Sota Yamamoto. And of course our own Dutch Champion Lindsay van Zundert.
The Challenge Cup/Dutch National Championships moved from The Hague to Tilburg last year and will take place there until 2024. Thanks to financial support from the municipality, spectators can enter for free this year!
