Topschaatsers uit verschillende Europese landen zullen strijden om de titels op verschillende afstanden, waaronder de sprintafstanden zoals de 500 en 1000 meter, en de langere afstanden zoals de 1500 en 5000 meter. Als je live schaatsen wilt bijwonen, raden we aan snel kaarten te bestellen voor vanavond, 5 januari. Wees er op tijd bij om deze spannende sportieve ervaring niet te missen!

The new year will be kicked off with the European Long Track Speed Skating Championships. From January 5 to 7, the European titles will be distributed in Thialf. Reis mee met de Thialf Express / Travel with the Thialf Express
Tijdens de grootste schaatsevenementen in het schaatsseizoen 2023/2024 rijdt Arriva met de speciale Thialf Express. Beleef een bijzondere ervaring en start jouw schaatsavontuur in de Thialf Express. De rechtstreekse bus rijdt van busstation Heerenveen naar IJsstadion Thialf. De Thialf Express rijdt tijdens de evenementen elk half uur rechtstreeks tussen busstation Heerenveen en de reguliere bushalte bij Thialf. Zo kunnen toeschouwers die eerder terug willen ook tijdens het evenement terug naar het busstation Heerenveen. De Thialf Express rijdt vanaf 1,5 uur voor de eerste wedstrijd tot 1,5 uur na afloop van de laatste wedstrijd. During the biggest skating events in the 2023/2024 skating season, Arriva will be running the special Thialf Express. Have a special experience and start your skating adventure in the Thialf Express. The direct bus runs from Heerenveen bus station to IJsstadion Thialf. The Thialf Express runs every half hour during the events directly between bus station Heerenveen and the regular bus stop at Thialf. Thus, spectators who want to return earlier can also return to Heerenveen bus station during the event. The Thialf Express runs from 1.5 hours before the first race until 1.5 hours after the last race.

Wil jij of je medereiziger gebruik maken van een rolstoelplek in de Thialf Express? Reserveer uiterlijk 24 uur voorafgaand aan het evenement je plek via onze klantenservice (0800-023 25 45). Zo hebben reizigers in een rolstoel gegarandeerd plek voor de rit van het busstation Heerenveen naar het Thialf en/of weer terug. Would you or your fellow traveler like to use a wheelchair space in the Thialf Express? Book your spot no later than 24 hours prior to the event through our customer service (0800-023 25 45). This way, travelers in wheelchairs are guaranteed a seat for the ride from Heerenveen bus station to the Thialf and/or back.

Zo betaal je de Thialf Express / How to pay for the Thialf Express
Je betaalt de rit met de Thialf Express gemakkelijk met je OV-chipkaart of door een los kaartje te kopen bij de chauffeur. Let op, dit kan alleen met de pin, betalen met contant geld is niet mogelijk. You pay for your Thialf Express ride with your OV-chipcard or by buying a separate ticket from the driver. Please note, this can only be done by debit card, paying with cash is not possible.
