De Uithof in Den Haag is van 20 t/m 23 februari 2020 het toneel voor de Challenge Cup en het Nederlands kampioenschap kunstrijden. De Challenge Cup is een wedstrijd waarin jonge, aanstormende talenten in de leeftijd van 10 jaar tot de senioren de kans krijgen zich op mondiaal niveau te meten met hun mede atleten.

Voor de Nederlandse deelnemers staan ook de nationale titels op het spel. De beste Nederlander in iedere categorie wordt Nederlands kampioen. Daarnaast dient de wedstrijd als voorbereiding en laatste kwalificatie voor de internationale toprijders op het WK.

De Challenge Cup is een zeer gewaardeerd internationaal kunstrijtoernooi. De Challenge Cup past goed in de ambitie om het Nederlandse kunstrijden op olympisch niveau te krijgen en tegelijkertijd de sport onder een groot Nederlands en internationaal publiek onder de aandacht te brengen.

From 20 to 23 February 2020 The Uithof in The Hague will be the venue for the Challenge Cup and the National Championship Figure Skating. The Challenge Cup is a competition in which young, up-and-coming talents in the age of 10 to seniors get the chance to measure themselves on a global level with their fellow athletes.

In addition, the competition serves as preparation and final qualification for the international top skaters at the World Championships. National titles are also at stake for the Dutch participants. The best Dutch figure skater in each category becomes Dutch Champion.

The Challenge Cup is and remains a highly appreciated international figure skating competition. The Challenge Cup fits well with the ambition to get Dutch figure skating at the Olympic level and at the same time bring the sport to the attention of a large Dutch and international audience.
